Presspahn

Presspahn is a fibrous board make-ready. It is one of the most widely used, low cost make-readies for hot foil blocking. Due to the fiber makeup of Presspahn, this make-ready allows for some compression on printing, this is ideal for hot foiling areas where there is a combination of fine and medium detail.  Presspahn will also last a reasonable length of time on print runs before there is a need to replace it.

Foilco supplies Presspahn in two thicknesses and sizes:

• Sheet size 838mm x 914mm
• 0.5mm and 1mm thickness
