Computer to Plate 8up (B1 Format)

In recent years, Screen's B1 format CtP devices have been the best-selling models worldwide. Screen is able to offer manual loading entry level machines right the way through to fully automated high performance options with good upgradeability as a business' demand increases.
The flagship PlateRite 8900ZZ is the world's fastest B1 platesetter and can output almost 70 pages per hour - sufficient for even the most demanding multi-unit presses.


PlateRite HD 8900

The new Screen PlateRite HD 8900 series comprises the Z, S, and E models, each one designed to meet the needs of different production environments.

The top-end, high-output PlateRite HD 8900Z can image over 65 plates an hour (1,030 x 800 mm plate sizes at a resolution of 2,400 dpi). The S and E models deliver 43 and 34 plates an hour respectively, with the additional capability to combine high-precision halftone dots with a 4,000 dpi output to produce photo-quality printing. 3D lenticular output mode is available on all models to support crisp 3D printing. Features such as these support high value-added printing to enhance differentiation in the marketplace.

Considerable flexibility is a strong feature of this new Screen PlateRite series. All models can handle a variety of plate sizes from 304 x 305 mm to 1,165 x 950 mm making it ideal to support a wide range of offset presses. In addition, a new autoloader design features improved operability and flexibility. The ability to load plates during continuous exposure, results in increased production volumes and the ability to keep pace with the needs of multiple jobs and high-speed presses.

PlateRite HD 8600N-E/S/Z

The new generation PlateRite 8000N series thermal CtP recorders from Screen are the successors to the world leading PlateRite 8000 Series. Many years of experience and positive feedback from over 14.000 happy customers have led to further enhancements on design, specification and environmental friendliness.

The PlateRite 8600N-Z/S recorders output B1-size plates up to a blistering 23 B1-size plates per hour*. The PlateRite 8600N-E can output up to 14 B1-size plates per hour*. *1,030 x 800 mm (40.5 x 31.4") plates at 2,400dpi.

High resolution
The PlateRite 8600N-Z delivers high-resolution 4,000 dpi support. This is perfect for everything from high-resolution art printing to the accurate reproduction of small text sizes like those required for bond and other certificate printing. This also enables the PlateRite 8600N-Z to output high-quality 4,000 dpi 3D lenticular printing plates.

This makes it an attractive choice for the small or medium size printer with B3, B2 plus presses Together with SPEKTA 2, which is Screen’s hybrid FM/AM screening technique, this is a CtP package that will set standards in quality and productivity.



PlateRite 4600E/S/Z

The PlateRite 4600E is an affordable, entry-level platesetter, which will provide printers with the most cost-effective way of incorporating the latest high-quality thermal CtP technology into their business and is upgradeable all the way to a PlateRite 4600Z which has a productivity of 33pph.
